Riccardo Baldini was born in Milan. In 2005, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his lifelong dream of working in the film industry. He began this pursuit by studying film production at UCLA. Upon completion of the Certificate Program in Film, Television and Digital Entertainment Media, Riccardo co-produced the award winning and Oscar shortlisted documentary, CARISSA, from Academy Award winner Davis Guggenheim. This cemented Baldini’s reputation as a producer in Los Angeles.
Now with over 20 years experience in the industry as both a producer and creative director, Baldini works in various capacities with major motion picture and television studios, contemporary artists, award winning directors and executive producers. Baldini’s experience garnered him producer and management credits on seven feature films, over fifty commercials and multiple television projects from front to back.
Since 2010, Baldini continues to work closely with world-famous contemporary artist Charles Ray. Due to Baldini’s unique skill set, he has been enlisted as the casting director. Most recent Ray’s retrospectives were at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, at the Bourse de Commerce - Pinault Collection in Paris and at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
In 2014, Riccardo became the Head of Production for the Sardinia Film Commission located in Sardinia, Italy. He oversaw all national and international productions that took place on the island until 2022.
Currently, Riccardo maintains various clients he works with on a regular basis. Through the years he worked as a key art director and creative producer on publicity campaigns for studios including Fox Broadcasting and Amazon Studios.
